Hello everyone~ Happy holiday to all of you ^^
So.. today I am going to review a Korean lip product that I got a few months ago,
Etude House Dear My Essence in Lips-talk.
Actually I got this lip product from Etude Time 3 event in Surabaya last February.
I am really sorry for the extremely long delay duhh >__<
Can you see those heart prints on the pink box? Oh well, the packaging is very cute as usual, and yes I must admit that Etude House wins for cutest packaging eveeer! That's why Etude House is one of my favorite Korean beauty brands lol xD
Product description :
- Contains 10% of meadow form oil which produces moisturizing layer.
- Moist and smooth with essence ingredients.
- Clear color formation to express attractive lips.
- Essence in lipstick, good to cover skin cell.
This lip product is available in 8 pretty colors, and the shade that I got is EBE102.
It comes in a pink tube, it has a snap-up cap with twist thingy at the bottom, and you will hear a quite-loud 'click' sound every time you twist it up.
But I WARN you.. do not twist it too much, and just twist it only 2 - 3 clicks to obtain the perfect amount and prevent breakage.. because you can NOT twist it back down!!!! Okay to be honest, I did not know about this thing at first. Stupidly.. I was very curious at the first time, and twisted it up to 3cm. And when I tried to twist it back down, BAM! of course it did not work at all, and I was like "what the hell is going on?!? asdfghjkl". Aghh how stupid I am!! *banging my head to the wall* T____T
It looks similiar like a marker, and it could fit inside my makeup pouch perfectly~
The texture is extremely creamy, but not sticky at all! And the consistency is very light. But unfortunately it's very easy to melt, ughh it's completely melted until I could not twist it up! So, I should put it in a refrigerator for about 10 minutes before I use it.. And it's quite inconvenient for me, especially when I was in a hurry! -___-
Well, EBE102 is a super-pretty nude shade and it has coral pink undertone. This is my go-to lip product because it looks very natural, just like my real lip color but much better! And I think I use it way too often lol xD
It's quite moisturizing, it glides onto my lips smoothly, and the color is also buildable.
The finish result is a little bit glossy at first, but it absorbed into my lips after 30 minutes, leave a lovely silky finish result. And it does not stay for more than 4 hours, so you should reapply it.
And I highly recommend you to exfoliate your lips first, because as you can see.. it makes my lips look very dry and chapped! But I do not recommend you to apply a lip balm first, because of my own experience, it will make the color does not absorb properly into your lips, and trust me.. it looks worse!!
