Review: Etude House Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base

Do you want to have a baby's soft and smooth skin like Sulli from f(x)???
If so, Etude House Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base is the right answer!!

So.. A few weeks ago, I got this product and other Etude House beauty products
from their Media Gathering in Etude Time 3 Surabaya.
Thanks so much Etude House Indonesia!!

Actually it comes in 3 shades..
#01 Mint Choux (suitable for reddish skin tone),
#02 Berry Choux (suitable for pale skin tone),
#03 Peach Choux (suitable for dull / yellowish skin tone).

And as you can see, I got mine in Berry Choux~ (^ε^)

The ingredients~
It works as a primer, as well as a moisturizer for me, and it also has SPF 25 PA++.
So, this is my favorite base for now! (^~^)

It comes in an opaque glass jar with a plastic lid. It's quite heavy and fragile, but last week I brought this product when I was in Pacet for retreat, and nothing happened! So, you must be careful when you bring this product especially for travelling errrr -__-
but the packaging is so cute, eh? lol (≧▽≦)

It contains 25 g~
Too bad it doesn't have a spatula inside, so you have to dip your fingers to scoop out the product. Make sure that your fingers are completely clean! But I prefer to use a cotton swab (Q-tip) instead of my fingers. Ughh I think it would be more hygienic if they provide a spatula, right?? (≧д≦)

It smells like strawberry cream, so yummy and sweet~ but somehow it's quite strong for my nose!! But fortunately it's okay for my super sensitive skin, so.. it doesn't make me break out yayy!! (*^▽^*)

As you can see, the texture of this base is smooth, creamy, slightly fluffy and bouncy, exactly like the filling of a real choux (cream puff)!! Woahhh.. actually it makes me want to lick it so bad lol (≧▽≦)

At first, it's rather difficult for me to blend this creamy base on my skin. So, I prefer to use my foundation brush instead of my fingers, because it's easier to blend it~

Here is the comparison on my hand~

And here is the comparison on my face~

Usually I only use this base and a bit of powder for school everyday, but sometimes I also use my regular BB cream after I use this base, and I noticed that my BB cream lasted longer throughout the day.
It would correct my skin tone and smooth out my skin texture, so.. my face looks brighter and gives a healthy glow after I use this base.
It would also cover my pimples and my large pores a bit (without clogged them). And the oil control is great because my T-zone started a little oily after 4 - 5 hours later!
Overall.. this product is suitable for all skin-types, but I think it's more perfect for oily & combination skin (like me), because the oil control of this product is AWESOME!!

 Love :
✩ Great texture.
✩ Has SPF 25 PA++
✩ Not sticky.
✩ Great oil control.
✩ Very light on my skin.
✩ Moisturize my skin.
✩ Cover my large pores & my pimples pretty well.
Brighten my face and gives a healthy glow.
 Doesn't break me out.

 Hate :
✩ The jar is quite heavy and fragile.
✩ Unhygienic, because it doesn't have a spatula inside.

So, have you ever tried any Etude House products from their latest line, Sweet Recipe??

Thanks for reading and have a lovely day, girls ^^
See ya~

Review: Cuicu Flashing Diamond Eyeshadows

Hello everyone~

Happy Chinese New Year!!
Wishing you happiness, good fortune and prosperity in this year.
Gong Xi Fa Cai ^^

Well, a few weeks ago, KKCenterHK kindly sent me 3 CUICU single eyeshadows,
and I chose CUICU Flashing Diamond Eyeshadows in Ivory White (02), Turquoise (05), and Chestnut Brown (12).

They're packed carefully and securely with bubble wrap~
I think the boxes are quite thick and they didn't looks cheap at all!

Their packaging are simple and quite boring for me (≧д≦)

But all of them are matte and so pigmented! Awesome!! (*^o^*)

Turquoise~

Ivory White~

Chestnut Brown~

Okay I admit that I was pretty shocked when I did the swatches of them for the first time. As you can see, all of them are really pigmented for affordable matte eyeshadows!! They're also very smooth and not too powdery (o_O)

Errr please pardon my messy eye-makeup and my messy hair lol! Actually I took the pics of my selcas outside, so.. the wind blew my hair *sigh Σ(~∀~||;)

And I didn't use eye primer in all of these pics at all~ (^ε^)

Honestly I prefer shimmer eyeshadow than matte eyeshadow, but of course I love these matte eyeshadows because I didn't really need eye primer to pop out the colors.
Well, now I'm curious to try the shimmer one from this brand lol (≧▽≦)

 Love :
✩ Affordable (only about $5)
Very pigmented (even without eye primer!)
✩ Smooth, not too powdery, and easy to blends.

 Hate :
✩ No mirror and applicator inside.
