Recipe: One Ingredient Ice Cream (Dairy and Sugar Free)

Well, I must admit that I really love ice cream since I was a kid and I could eat ice cream until I literally exploded lol. But as I grew up, I started to be more concerned with my body weight, so I was trying my best to avoid my 'true love' duh! >__<

If you are also an ice cream lover and have the same problem like me, lucky you! Because now I am going to share 2 healthier ice cream options with just 1 main ingredient to all of you! Oh yes I am not kidding, you can make a yummy raw vegan ice cream without any additional dairy or sweetener needed yay!

And can you guess what it is??
Yes, a very versatile fruit.. BANANA~!
These are definitely my favorites, and I could eat them without feeling guilty when I was craving for some ice cream, err yeah even if I was on a diet lol xD

----------------------

BANANA ICE CREAM

Ingredients:
- 2 large ripe bananas (the more ripe, the better!).
- 1 tbsp organic peanut butter.
- 1 tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder (optional).

Peel the bananas, cut them into small pieces, and freeze them overnight.

Add the frozen bananas, peanut butter and cocoa powder in a blender. Slowly increase the speed from low to high, and blend them until smooth for about 50 to 60 seconds, but I prefer mine with small chunks. And oh, I recommend you to use a food processor!

You can serve it immediately or store it in the freezer for a firmer and scoop-able ice cream. But I prefer to eat it all right away in less than 2 minutes lol that is why mine does not look photogenic, eh? xD

Umm it is not icy or flaky at all, and it tastes so creamy.. and rich.. OMG I am sure your tongue will be satisfied with the creaminess and cold texture of this banana ice cream, which is very similar like the regular ice cream~

Uh-oh, you can also skip the cocoa powder and add a few other ingredients that you want, for the example like frozen berries, coconut flakes, or raisins, etc! Just be creative to create your own unique combination!

----------------------

MINI FROZEN BANANA POPS

Ingredients:
- 1 large ripe banana.
- 4 toothpicks.
- Caramel sauce (optional).

Peel and cut a banana into 4 pieces. And insert a toothpick into each piece.
Oh if you want to cut the banana into half, you can use the popsicle sticks!

I think it is much healthier if you do not dip your bananas into melted chocolate la,
that is why I prefer to add a little bit of caramel sauce for a healthier option, and you can also use organic fruit jam, or.. umm do you have any other ideas?
Then put them in the freezer, and leave for at least 6 hours or overnight.

And you are done! Actually I used to cut the banana into half, but unfortunately I noticed that the bottom part was melting very quickly before I could eat all of it, so now I prefer to cut it into 4 pieces and I think this is the perfect size for me.
And I usually use 3 large bananas to make these mini popsicles so I can eat them whenever I want lol. And actually it tastes so yummy even without any toppings!

So, have you ever tried frozen-banana ice creams before??

Uh-oh, I just realized that I did not post too many reviews on my blog lately ughh sorry, but I promise I will post more reviews very soon, and actually I have been trying out a lot of new beauty products recently hehe so please stay tuned~!

Thanks for reading and have a lovely day, girls ^^

See ya~

  2. Ngiler liat foto-fotonya... Kebetulan aku suka coklat pisang. Ternyata ice cream bisa dibuat sendiri. Jadi pengen nyobain buat juga. Tapi aku males kalo buat kayak gitu. Enakan langsung beli dan langsung comot.
